Background

With the upgrade of computers, including the introduction of the wide screen, into every classroom there is an opportunity to set the screen resolution to a much higher level than in the past. When all the new cables etc.. are installed the optimum resolution is either 1600x900 or 1920x1080 whilst this resolution may appear to be much sharper there is a problem in that is that the projector, being much older than the computer, cannot cope with the higher resolution. Sometimes there will be no projected display whilst other times the projected display will appear ‘washed out’. The maximum resolution that the current projector can handle is 1024x768.
